Mary obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from North Carolina State University and Master’s Degree in the area of Communication Sciences and Disorders from North Carolina Central University. She has worked in acute care, school, and private practice settings, worked with both adult and pediatric populations, and joined the staff of Building Bridges Therapy in 2018. Mary has continued to improve her clinical skills by attending courses related to pediatric feeding, apraxia, early developing language, and Augmentative Alternative Communication. She is certified in orofacial myofunctional therapy. Outside of work Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and golden retriever.
