Marian Ellington obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology Pre-Health and Master’s Degree in the area of Occupational Therapy from Alabama State University. She has worked in skilled nursing facilities, treating adults in short term and long-term care; school settings, treating students in preschool through high school; and outpatient settings, treating children ages newborn through 21 years, all with a variety of diagnoses and limitations. She joined the staff of Building Bridges Therapy in 2021. Marian has continued to improve her clinical skills by attending courses related to sensory integration and processing, feeding, and effective treatment strategies. Outside of work, Marian enjoys training and performing in aerial arts.
