Leslie obtained her Master’s Degree in the area of Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University and her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia. She has clinical experience in a variety of settings including public schools, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient clinics. Leslie has experience treating children ages 1-21 in the areas of apraxia, articulation, receptive/expressive language, pragmatic language, fluency, dysphagia, and augmentative-alternative communication systems. Leslie joined the staff of Building Bridges Therapy in 2020. She has continued to improve her clinical skills by attending courses related to autism, apraxia, fluency, AAC, language, articulation, and parent coaching. Outside of work, Leslie enjoys playing tennis, running, hiking with her dog, and trying new restaurants with her husband.
