Services
Individual Speech, Occupational, Physical, and ABA Therapy
Our therapists consult clients and their parents to establish functional goals to be targeted within a set time period. These tasks are adapted as necessary to allow the client to perform the task with the most independence. These tasks can include daily chores, community outings, or vocational skills.
ABA Preschool Group
Building Bridges Therapy is excited to team up with Lovaas certified Applied Behavioral Therapist, Dana Shroyer, to offer a structured preschool program for children ages 2 & 3. This group will target age appropriate academic skills following the ABA model and is open to children of all abilities. This group will provide a fun, structured environment to target developmental areas such as fine and gross motor skills as well as language enriching activities including music therapy. Typical children are encouraged to attend to provide appropriate peer models. Low student/teacher ratio. Individual ABA also available.
Our Groups
Our groups are conducted by a speech and occupational therapist. We attempt to incorporate typically developing peers into each group. The following groups are offered:
- Social Skills Groups
- Meet and Greet Groups
- Vocational Training Groups
- Cooking Club
- Etiquette Group
- Sports Group
- Articulation Group
- Handwriting Group
Parent Consultations
We understand that parents of children with disabilities also need support throughout their child’s life. Our therapists meet with parents to listen to their concerns and work with them to develop a plan for addressing them. Common topics include what to do after receiving a diagnosis, therapeutic options, establishing expectations, and finding local support.
